How To Connect With Your Life Vision

I will bet you have a vision for your life (even if it’s not fully in your awareness at this moment). We need to get into close contact with that vision - to reconnect with it. Why? Your vision is especially needed at this time in history- at a time when it’s so easy to get caught up in all the dysregulation of the world.
Visions regulate our nervous systems. They help us to connect with what is most meaningful to us. They are also the resources we need to move through the challenges we face. They motivate us to make good decisions and go towards what is uplifting and inspiring. I think we need more of that, don’t you?
I believe we are better humans when we are deeply connected to a vision. I know I engage more positively and act with tenacity when I am aligned with my vision.
I was reminded this past week of the disconnection I've experienced from my vision. I've let it go stale by not regularly nurturing it. It’s no wonder I have been feeling low and have not been consistent in going after my dreams.
One of the first ways to reconnect to your vision is to give some space to be in a relationship with your body (and your felt sense):
How is it feeling?
What is it sensing?
What is it letting you know is most important? What part of your vision does your body respond to with an uptick in energy and vibrancy?
What does it need to feel acknowledged, supported and cherished?
What does it need to help you execute on your vision?
A mistake we sometimes make is to push through and ignore the wisdom of the body. Your vision will be easier to reach if you bring your body along on the journey.
How will you let your body know you are there for it? Will you speak to it differently? Will you care for it more lovingly? Will you nourish it and rest it because you are worth it?
Yes, you are worth it because you are a human being who deserves love and care. This is your right.
As such, you are also entitled to have a vision and to cultivate your full potential.
